Retired from the Computer Software Industry:
CEO, Futura Software Systems, Inc. from 1983 – 2003.
Developed, sold and implemented proprietary software for the entertainment industry. Customers included many fortune 100 companies such as NIKI and Travelers, Fine Art Centers, Convention Centers and a number of top ranked Universities including George Washington University in Washington, DC.
International Sales Manager for an American Software Company based out of Phoenix, AZ. Heavy international travel, responsible for all of Europe.
Branch Manager for UCC International with office in Munich, Germany. Main Office was in Dallas, TX, International HQ was in London, England.
Was responsible for sales in So. Germany, Austria & Switzerland. Became number one international sales office with 305% of quota achievement.
Project Manager for the design and implementation of an on-line police system
for the City of Madison, Wisconsin; also designed interface from the State to the
FBI’s NCIC System. System was leading edge at the time and received a lot of recognition by press and TV.
Formerly employed by NASA. Initially in Greenbelt, Maryland was then transferred to JPL (Jet Propulsion Laboratory) in Pasadena, California where I worked on unmanned space flights using large IBM scientific computers.
